The RAIDON iR8023 is a fault-tolerant hard disk array which is easy to install and hot-swappable allowing drives to be replaced while the power is on. It is suitable for applications such as professional workstations, file servers and as real-time backup storage systems.

The disk array of iR8023 consists of two M.2 SATA SSDs (RAID 0/1), and a M.2 SATA SSD Converter, iR8023 has 2 SATA host interfaces for diversified purposes. The iR8023 is a dual function storage device, offering data security and removable storage for on the go data transport.

1.Users can choose to use additional storage devices, install M.2 SATA SSD as a boot disk to speed up the system performance, and iR8023 set to RAID 1 disk array as a data disc to protect the data security.
 

2.iR8023 can also be set to RAID 1 disk array as a boot disk, and the use of iR8023 the left side of the machine attached to the storage device, install M.2 SATA SSD as a data backup disc. So that your important information at any time can be an additional backup, when in the event of a fire or earthquake, can quickly carry and ensure important information.

The M.2 SATA SSD provides fast transmission, anti-vibration, and is power-saving. For specific computer platforms, it is a very good choice.
 

Included software monitoring program to easily view hard disk status

In the iR8023, in addition to the back light screen that can display the module status, for Windows users, a software RAIDGuide Manager monitoring program is also provided. It allows users to understand the RAID module and hard disk status more directly through the monitoring program. Even better, after setting the monitoring program, it will take the initiative to send letters to users when the hard disk fails. Independent Drive for Data Share/Exchange/Backup

1. The independent drive can be removed at any time for data share/exchange with other PC/Mac, and the shared/exchanged data can be backed up to RAID drive to ensure data safety.

2. The independent drive can be the backup drive for the RAID drive (need third-party software) and can store it separately, which is equivalent to offsite backup for the RAID drive.

3. Once the RAID drive is degraded, the independent drive can be the replace drive to replace the damage drive in the RAID drive.
